Kentucky Motel

We stayed at this hotel the night before the eclipse. I had reserved the room about 6 weeks earlier. The owner told me that the rate I paid was the same as the rate for any other night - I found this to be astonishing, when every other hotel I checked into in the area had doubled or tripled (or more) their usual room rates. The room was basic, but clean and in good repair. Although it was a smoking room (we don't smoke, but it was the only room left so we took it), it barely smelled of smoking. Plenty of hot water for shower. Very good air conditioning. A small refrigerator and a microwave were included. Parking was convenient. Gas station/convenience stores and fast food restaurants are very nearby (within a couple of blocks). We definitely feel this room was a good value. We would stay here again if we are in the area and need a hotel.

I spent five nights here the rooms are extremely clean... There were no bugs no issues at all!! There is no coffee in the room no breakfast in the morning but the price was right and like I said the rooms were extremely clean she does a fantastic job... I will definitely stay again

If you're looking for a room with a day spa pass on by. If you're a traveling construction guy, like me, or just somebody needing a CLEAN quiet place to rest your head, stop on by. And this is a small ma and pa motel so your hard earned money will stay local and be appreciated, not some corporate board. The rooms are a little small, carpet is outdated, stand up shower, no tubs. TVs are little but lots of cable channels. But did I mention how CLEAN and quiet this place is ? This place is cleaner than some 4 and 5 star rated places that I have laid my head over the years. I just checked in today for the week so haven't tried the bed yet. But so far it is 4 stars. I NEVER rate anything 5 stars because I am reserving that for the best place I ever find. Stop on by The Kentucky Motel in the heart of Franklin, Kentucky if you're in the area and needing a sleep stop. You'll be happy you did.

Interior decor is reminiscent of the 80s' -90s but it is overall clean including fresh bed linens and a very good functional shower! The only minor quibble being there are no bathroom receptacles and towels are rather used. The long-time Asian husband-wife owner-operators are very accomodating and take thoughtful care of their guests and have good communication skills! Recently remodeled exteriors on all rooms with fresh paint and well lite spacious parking areas and nice covered porches. For the Budget-minded traveler who demands no-frills or pampering, I would recommend it! Located downtown in a very safe environment. Would return without question!!
